How to get to Granada?

Granada has an international airport, but it's easier to find flights to the nearby Malaga Airport, from where you can take a bus directly to Granada (Alsa).


Granada also has a train and bus station. From abroad, you can also fly to Madrid and then take a train (Renfe) or a bus (Alsa).

In Spain, carpooling (Blablacar) is very common, and can be booked through the company's app at low prices.

Where can I stay in Granada?

There are a multitude of accommodation options in Granada, from Booking to Airbnb to more traditional hotels.

Are there foster families?

Host families are available, and pianos may be available for students. However, availability is very limited, and please contact the competition organizers as soon as possible.

How can I pay the registration fees?

A bank account number will be provided to those selected to participate in the in-person phases of the competition.

How do I register?

Registration will be submitted exclusively online through the registration form on the website.

Will I be able to study during the contest?

During the competition, contestants will be offered the opportunity to study at the Experimental Music School of Granada and/or the Municipal School of Armilla.

Specific details will be sent to contestants after confirmation of participation. The day before the competition begins, participants can try out the competition piano at the Cultural Center ( see important dates ).
